Heavy Haualage Australia Group Slogan

History

history heavy haulage

Jon Kelly aspired to have his own trucks all his life – his fascination with the trucks began with his grandfather. Most of Jon’s practical experience came from his young days under the wing of his grandfather.

“My grandfather was very much old school.” Jon recalls. “He taught me the fundamentals about equipment, customers, service and staff. He told me that if you look after your equipment it will look after you, and if you look after your staff they will look after you too”.

Heavy Haulage Australia commenced operation in 1999 – with one prime mover and one 50 ton capacity low loader. Now with an ever expending fleet of 11 trucks and over 20 trailers we have cemented our position in the heavy haulage market in Australia.

Our steady growth has been built on the sound business principles of focus on customer satisfaction and pride in our equipment. As a result we now operate one of the most professional and well known fleets of immaculately presented trucks and trailer combinations.
