Jon Kelly– Managing Director (Contract Negotiations)

Founder and Managing Director, Jon Kelly, operates his fleet from a hands-on position, knowing that the best way to lead is through example and the best way to learn is through experience.

From the very beginning Jon has always taken pride in his equipment – it is very unusual to find a piece of Heavy Haulage Australia's equipment that is not gleaming with chrome and polished paint work. It is the attention to detail, clearly seen in the fleet, that wins Heavy Haulage Australia a lot of its work.

15 Years Heavy Haulage experience and director of the company with recent focus being on Ultra Heavy Haulage & Large project’s. Jon has formed business relationships with the likes of Queensland, NSW and Victorian Government on major infrastructure projects. He has an exemplary proven record of performance, compliance and execution. 

By being involved in all layers of the business Jon sees and hears client’s requirements first hand and knows how to respond with equipment and know-how that makes for a complete heavy haulage service. “It is a very volatile industry” Jon Kelly explains “where you have to cater for your customers specific needs no matter the situation”.

“It is a massive advantage to our customers that we can cover such a wide scope of work. Traditionally heavy haulage companies rely on other subcontractors to carry out their accessory transport for the larger items/projects – but over the years we have found that we can offer a better more reliable service to the end customer by providing general transport ourselves. As a result the customer at the end of the day can rest assured that they will receive the same level of service and appreciation through the whole project/contract that they have previously become accustomed to from us.”

 

David Kidd (OH&S, Environmental, QA)

David has over 25 years in the transport industry managing Heavy Vehicles, Transport Operations, Transport Management and is in charge of Procurement & Senior Project Management.

 

Anthony Hardman (Transport Compliance and Quality management)

Anthony has had over 20 years experience in Heavy Haulage operations. Anthony ensures the compliance of all of our equipment nationally.
